CBT Training Telford
BikeWise doesn’t currently run a school inside Telford itself, but our Shrewsbury training centre is the closest fully-equipped site around 14 miles and 20–25 minutes from Telford town centre via the A5. Riders from all over Telford & Wrekin train with us every week, and most tell us the short drive is well worth it for a calmer training ground away from Telford’s busier roads. From Telford, take the A5 westbound towards Shrewsbury — it’s a straightforward, mostly dual-carriageway drive taking around 20–25 minutes. Coming from Wellington, Oakengates or Dawley, allow closer to 25–30 minutes. If you’re relying on public transport, the X5/X75 bus routes and the Shrewsbury–Telford train line both run into Shrewsbury town centre, a short walk or taxi ride from our training site at Meole Brace.

Your driving licence, glasses or contact lenses if you need them for riding, and sturdy footwear that covers your ankles. We can advise on helmets and other kit when you book.
Can I do my full motorcycle licence after my CBT?
